CARTOONING WORKSHOP
One/ two hour class per day. Technique and imagination go hand in hand in this exciting class. Students will learn how to draw different characters and how to tell a story through drawings. They will be challenged to create their own character and their own comic book.

CERAMICS & SCULPTURE
One- or two-hour class per day. Learn how to create with clay! Students will work on pinch pots, slab building, press molds, 2D compositions, carving, and more. Animals, portraits, and cartoon characters will be sculpted and painted with acrylics and glazes.

Ms Leda Almar
Leda Almar is an artist and co-founder of ChessArt Kids, where she has been sharing her passion for art with children for over 20 years. Through classes like cartooning, ceramics, and sculpture, Leda introduces her students to the world of art using interesting and expressive techniques that spark creativity and imagination.Her approach is playful, empathetic, and deeply human. Beyond teaching skills, Leda encourages children to tell stories with their hands, express their feelings, and discover their unique artistic voice. Each class becomes a space to experiment, play with materials, and build self-confidence.
In her studio, children don’t just learn how to draw or sculpt — they learn to create with emotion, meaning, and authenticity.
